Rochelle + Jeff

Six years ago, Rochelle and Jeff met for the very first time at PNE where Calvin Harris was playing. Jeff didn’t really notice Rochelle that night because he wasn’t wearing his glasses. Six months later, they met again at the Commodore Ballroom where Zedd was playing. This time, Jeff could see clearly and liked what he saw.

 

The day after, Rochelle received a Facebook friend request from Jeff and thought “Hey, I could use another friend” and accepted. The two started chatting and discovered mutual interests in music and food. He taught her how to shuffle and she took him on foodie adventures. They quickly became close friends but it wasn’t too long until they started dating (after Jeff proved himself, obviously). Persistence does pay off well.

Fast forward to April 16, 2018 – Jeff surprised Rochelle by popping the question inside the Bamboo Forest during their 2.5 week trip in Japan. Little did she know, he planned this proposal for 7 months prior and hid the ring in his gadget bag. Despite being semi-drunk and having bloodshot eyes (from the previous night of heavy drinking, of course), Jeff managed to get down on one knee and successfully obtained a “yes” from his astonished fiancée. R & J are very excited to embark on this incredible life journey together!

As we begin our lives together, we are especially grateful for the love and support from our family and friends. We are to be blessed with the necessities of everyday life, and have decided to instead plan an unforgettable honeymoon to Europe to celebrate the beginning of our married life together. Our wedding registry consists of experiences and expenses for our honeymoon where guests can make contributions if so inclined. The biggest gift of all, however, is your presence on our Big Day. Thank you for your love, and we can’t wait to share our honeymoon adventures with you!
